KaeLee Denise Photography began with a simple passion for photography and developed into a desire to capture the love, laughter and memories of others.
KaeLee grew up on the heels of her grandfather, a photographer with an eye for capturing the natural beauty in life. Following him in and out of his darkroom with every visit. Photographing the daily smiles of the children she nannied for, KaeLee realized that her photography was more than a hobby. She longed to bring her art into the lives of the people around her.
"My favorite thing about the families and children I photograph is the bonds I form. Creating a friendship not just a business contact. I love getting to know each person, child and baby on an individual basis. Learning what makes them laugh, makes them smile, knowing their favorite cartoon character and color, meeting their favorite stuffed animal or toy. I love photographing each individual for who they are. Photographing the same families year after year watching them grow and blossom makes me smile."
KaeLee carries a candid photo journalistic approach to her photography. Specializing in family, children, infant and high school senior portraits.
In her spare time KaeLee and her boyfriend, Chris, like to snowboard, travel, hike and camp in Pisgah National Forest. Waking up early to photograph the sunrise on the parkway and seeking out wildflowers to photograph.
